The Solo series is among Breedlove`s most affordable. It offers inexpensive models which are designed and controlled in Oregon but made in China. The current 2018 lineup consists of only five models - three guitars and two basses. 2018 Solo Concert CE is an acoustic-electric guitar with steel-string construction, 25-1/2" scale, LR Baggs electronics (an under-saddle pickup with soundhole-mounted controls), modern styling, and Breedlove`s trademark playability and tone. Main construction features include laminated ovangkol back & sides, a solid Western red cedar soundboard on top, a 14th fret dovetail joint, and high-quality hardware. Breedlove sells this one in Natural Gloss finish. Other notable features include an okume neck, a 20-fret ebony fingerboard (1-11/16" bone nut, offset dot inlays), an ebony bridge, and closed-back tuners.
