Westerly B-140E is the only full-sized acoustic bass made by Guild Guitar Company. Along with it, two Junior Jumbo Bass models complete the lineup. The 140 bass costs $1.115 and is among the most versatile options in its price range. Westerly B-140E starts off with a non-cutaway jumbo body, 17th fret dovetail neck joint, standard 34" scale, Guild hardware, and Guild electronics. The color palette is limited to the Natural option, which features gloss finish, chrome hardware, as well as abalone inlays and details. Core construction features include mahogany back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top (scalloped X bracing), mahogany neck (C profile), and 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Other important features include a fixed rosewood bridge, Guild AP-1 active piezo pickup, and Guild tuners.
