Ibanez`s acoustic bass range has been refreshed with a couple of new options at this year`s NAMM, with one of them being this model. AVCB9BE is a lower intermediate class instrument, made with a bit shorter scale (32"), conservative acoustic guitar styling and modern electronics. AVCB9BE kicks off with a grand concert body with cutaway and dovetail neck joint. Mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board comprise the body. black binding and tortoise pickguard decorate the top. The neck is also made of mahogany, featuring 16th fret dovetail joint in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.69" nut, 15.75" radius) on top. Main hardware and electronics features include chrome-plated die-cast tuners, Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp (w/onboard tuner).
