Brand new model for the SGBE series and 2012 NAMM Show in Anaheim, Ca, SGBE110 is a grand concert shaped acoustic-electric bass guitar. This model has no cutaways and sports a neck joint all the way up at the 15th fret. SGBE110 starts off with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This flat-top bass has white binding and a modern-shaped tortoise shell pickguard. There are two color options available for this model, the natural with glossy finish and vintage sunburst. The sound hole is encircled with a double-circle pearloid rosette. The bridge is made of rosewood and features a belly shape and features four black pins and a white plastic saddle. The amplification of this bass consists of Ibanez under-saddle piezo and Ibanez AEQ202T preamp with a two-band equalizer placed on the side-mounted control panel. The neck is made of mahogany and has a dovetail joint. The fingerboard on SGBE110 is made of rosewood and features 20 frets with dot inlays. Tuning machines are die-cast and plated in chrome. The scale measures 32" in length, Ivorex II string nut is 1.71" wide and the fingerboard radius is 15.75".
