Takamine`s G range is mainly oriented towards the less experienced players who want to enter the world of serious musical instruments, but don`t have the money for the Pro series models. G models cover everything from the beginner to the semi-pro level. GB30CELH is one of five left-handed models introduced for the fall-winter of 2014. GB30CELH kicks off with a single-cut body with a significant depth and pronounced Venetian cutaway. Back and side panels of the body are made of laminated mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Elegant and discreet binding is featured around the edges of the sound board, while the pickguard is omitted. Simple rosette matches the binding and adds to the overall stylish, yet simple vibe of this intermediate four-stringer. Bridge on the top is made of rosewood and features the standard synthetic bone saddle, together with black string pins. Electronics department is fit with Takamine`s own TK-40B preamp which is installed on the side of the body, facing the player. Mahogany neck rocks the standard back contour and a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Die-cast tuners, standard 34" scale and chrome-plated hardware wrap up the specs list.
