Espana is one of the most prominent series in Cordoba catalog, and it offers a wide range of classic and flamenco guitars. 55FCE comes with a classically shaped body with a single cutaway. It is made of maple back and sides with a spruce top. The top is equipped with black binding, glossy finish and a classic sound hole rosette. The bridge is made of rosewood and it features a standard nylon-stringer shape. In the electronics section, Cordoba installs an under-saddle piezo pickup with Fishman Prefix Problend preamp. Three band equalizer, tuner and volume controls are featured. The neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a dovetail joint. Ebony is the material of choice for this model and it is equipped with 19 frets and 1.96" wide bone string nut.
