Although a nylon-stringed classical guitar, CYS70CE is a modern instrument oriented towards the contemporary player who needs a versatile and adaptable instrument. It belongs to the Standard tier of the Alvarez-Yairi lineup, along with the rest of the CY models. CYS75, like every other 75 model made by Alvarez, sports rosewood/cedar body (rosewood back & sides, AA grade western red cedar top) and mahogany neck (one-piece construction, classical contour, 12th fret spanish heel joint). The fingerboard`s made of rosewood (19 classical frets, 12th fret abalone inlay, 25-19/32" scale, 2-1/16" bone nut), as is the bridge (classical contour, real bone saddle). Other notable features include FST2M (forward-shifted, scalloped X) bracing, LR Baggs electronics, and Gotoh tuners. The MSRP is set at $1,999.
