Kazuo Yairi is the master builder behind the top Alvarez models. He builds his models for Alvarez in his own private shop located in his home town in Japan. He produces models for several series in the catalog, but the Yairi Masterworks series brings the best of his guitars. DYM95 12 is a fully acoustic twelve-stringer with a dreadnought-shaped body with non-cutaway construction. Back and side panels are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. Ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette decorate the top of this model. Bridge is made of ebony and the wood of choice for the neck is mahogany. This neck is topped with ebony fingerboard. It comes with 20 frets, custom 12th fret inlay and 1.6875" wide string nut. Golden hardware wraps the specs list.
