Kazuo Yairi mostly makes fully acoustic guitars with a handful of acoustic-electrics featured in his line in Alvarez Guitars catalog. His line offers some of the most exclusive and expensive models featured in the catalog and materials used for the guitars is the Alvarez top shelf. Dreadnoughts are predominant in Yairi series and DYM95C Aura is also a dreadnought. DYM95C Aura comes with Fishman electronics installed, Aura system to be precise. This ensures top notch amplification. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Bridge is made of ebony, which is series standard. Mahogany neck is attached with a regular 14th fret dovetail joint and topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Hardware on this model is plated in gold.
