FYM96C is an acoustic-electric guitar made by Kazuo Yairi for the Alvarez Yairi series, which has some of the most luxurious guitars with Alvarez badge. Mostly dreads comprise this series, but there is also a significant number of folk models. FYM96C is a folk model. It`s body is made of ovangkol and spruce. Ovangkol is used for back and side panels, while the spruce is used for the sound board on top. Top panel is equipped with following decorations: herringbone and tortoise binding, tortoise shell pickguard and standard double circle rosette. Bridge is regular belly-contoured ebony bridge. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a standard 14th fret dovetail joint. Fingerboard is made of ebony to match the bridge and it`s equipped with 20 frets.
