GY2E is a jumbo-shaped guitar from the Yairi Standard series made by Alvarez. This series models are ranked somewhat below the Alvarez Yairi models, but are still extraordinary options in their price range. Both acoustic and acoustic-electric variants appear in the lineup and GY2E is a single-cut acoustic-electric guitar with body made of lacewood and spruce. Of course, lacewood comprises both the back and sides, while the spruce is utilized for the sound board on top. Abalone and ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette decorate the top. Vintage theme of this model is completed with gold-plated hardware and satin finish over natural color. Bridge is made of ebony. Mahogany-made neck is topped with a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
