MC761C is a model from Alvarez Masterworks series, which is, next to the Yairi masterworks the most prestigious line of guitars in the catalog. It is a classically shaped nylon-stringer with single cutaway design. It`s back and sides are made of rosewood, while the top is made of cedar. MC761C is available in natural color with glossy finish and rosewood binding. As usual, pickguard is not featured on a nylon-stringed classical guitar. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a regular shape. In the electronics department, Alvarez opted to install System 600 MkII preamp. Neck on this model features a dovetail joint set at the standard 12th fret. It is topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Other features on MC761C include gold plated classical tuning pegs.
