MPA70 is one of only four parlor models Alvarez Guitars offer through the Masterworks series. It is a fully acoustic guitar which belongs to the famous tier 70 (tier 66 is the only other active tier in the Masterworks lineup). MPA70 starts off with an all-solid body (made of rosewood back & sides and AA Sitka spruce top), a one-piece mahogany neck (rounded profile, 12th fret dovetail joint, semi-gloss finish), 18-fret rosewood fingerboard (24" scale, 12th fret inlay, 1-3/4" bone nut), rosewood bridge (classic Alvarez contour, bone saddle, ebony string pins), FST2M bracing system (forward shifted, scalloped X pattern), and vintage 3+3 headstock (w/gold-plated tuners). The MSRP for the Natural option (gloss/satin finish, abalone soundhole rosette, paua abalone headstock inlay) is set at $1,149.
