Alvarez Guitars is a brand of affordable acoustic and electric guitars, owned and operated by St.Louis Music. The focus of the brand is firmly on beginner, lower intermediate, and intermediate-class acoustic guitars. The Regent series houses Alvarez`s most affordable steel-string models. It focuses on dreadnought, folk, and classical body shapes. RD28CE is an acoustic-electric model, made with a single-cut dreadnought body. Main features include laminated back & sides made of ovangkol, solid spruce soundboard, standard 14th fret neck joint, SYS250 electronics (under-saddle piezo pickup + shoulder-mounted preamp), and stock hardware. Alvarez sells this model in Natural Gloss color scheme with chrome hardware, white binding, and black pickguard. RD28CE also has a solid ovangkol bridge, 20-fret techwood fingerboard, fixed techwood bridge, and die-cast tuning machines.
