The Regent series is one of the most affordable series of acoustic guitars made by Alvarez. Its main purpose is to offer the beginners a reliable, well-made guitar on which to start their musical journey. Also, Regents make for excellent backup guitars, as well as rehearsal and songwriting workhorses. RD26CE is a great example of what the Regent line is all about. It offers great build quality, versatile tone, and elegant Alvarez styling. Also, the 1-11/16" wide string nut makes playing easy, especially for inexperienced guitarists. RD26CE comes in Natural and Sunburst finishes (both with chrome hardware, gloss finish, white binding). Core construction features include mahogany back & sides, spruce soundboard, mahogany neck (14th fret dovetail joint, standard contour), 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
