Alvarez Regent series offers beginner-level steel-string and classical models. They come in both acoustic and amplified variants, as well as right and left-handed orientations (though not every model has a lefty option). Two basic tiers include 26 (models with mahogany backs and sides) and 27 (rosewood backs and sides) and they replace the former 100/200/300/400 format. RF26CE is an amplified folk guitar, with a single-cut body and mahogany/spruce body construction. The MSRP is set at $379 (among the most expensive 26s). It is available only in Natural (w/combined gloss/satin finish, black pickguard, chrome hardware). Other notable features include a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1-11/16" PPS string nut, dot inlays), fixed rosewood bridge (classic Alvarez contour), and die-cast tuners.
