Solitaire series from Boulder creek depends heavily on four tonewoods for the bodies of it`s guitars. Back and sides are made of mahogany and rosewood. And on the other side, sound boards can be made of spruce and cedar. Cedar is used for nylon-stringed guitars, while the spruce is used on steel-stringers. Mahogany and rosewood are used in both solid and laminated state. All models from this series feature dreadnought body contour with either a single cutaway, or non-cutaway design. ER2-C is a steel-stringed dreadnought with non-cutaway design. It is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce sound board. Back panel is solid, while the sides are laminated. AB4-1 system is used in the electronics department. 20-fret fingerboard has dot inlays.
