C980T12 is a twelve-stringed variant of C980T, which is a top six-string model of the Cobalt series. It comes with a jumbo shaped body with a single cutaway. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with a solid spruce top. The top is bound in abalone and decorated with triple circle abalone rosette around the sound hole. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it comes in a classic belly shape. It also features ebony string pins and TUSQ saddle. Electronics on this model are made and supplied by Fishman. Neck is made of solid mahogany and it is attached to the body with a dovetail joint. This neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard which is equipped with 20 medium sized frets and dot inlays.
