The new Acero series by Cordoba fuses together popular steel-string concepts with traditional Spanish/classical features. Lightweight construction, wooden binding (and wooden rosettes on more expensive models), Spanish heel neck joints, and wide necks (again, on more expensive models) are the hallmarks of Acero line. GA3 is one of only two grand auditorium models and the only fully acoustic GA. it offers a non-cutaway body, 25-1/2" scale, 14th fret Spanish heel joint (instead of the standard dovetail), hardware made in China, and elegant Acero series styling. Main construction features include mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top (rosewood binding, MOP tortoise rosette), mahogany neck, and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.6875" nut, dot inlays). Other notable features include X-bracing (made of spruce), solid rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
