The Gold series is among the Cort`s most expensive lines of acoustic guitars. It deals with both acoustic and acoustic-electric models. Dreadnought, orchestra, and auditorium models comprise the lineup. All models feature all-solid construction, dooublelock neck joints (combination of dovetail and bolt-on joints), Fishman electronics (only the acoustic-electric models), and UV finishes. Gold O8 is one of two available Gold series` dreadnoughts. Key features include a non-cutaway body (solid pau ferro back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top), 14th fret neck joint, 25.3" scale, and high-end hardware. Cort sells this model only in Light Burst color scheme, with gloss finish and gold-plated hardware. Other important features include a mahogany neck w/walnut reinforcements, a 20-fret ebony fingerboard, an ebony bridge, and vintage-style tuning machines.
