Gold is one of the most recent additions to Cort`s acoustic range and it ranks among the most expensive series. The models feature all-solid construction, Fishman electronics (if they`re acoustic-electric), doublelock neck joints (a combination of the classic dovetail and bolt-in approaches), walnut-reinforced necks, and UV finishes. Gold-O8 is a grand auditorium model, with a non-cutaway body and fully acoustic construction. Main features include solid pau ferro back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, 14th fret neck joint, and high-end hardware. Cort offers O8 in only one color scheme - Natural Gloss. Other notable features include a solid mahogany neck w/adjustable truss rod, 20-fret ebony fingerboard (25.3" scale, custom-designed MOP inlays, 1.75" bone nut), an ebony bridge, and gold-plated die-cast tuners.
