Gold series is one of the most advanced series of acoustic guitars Cort ever built. It is currently made up of three models, a dreadnought, a folk, and an auditorium. All three models feature torrefied tops (aged through intense heating), walnut reinforcements within their necks, as well as double lock neck joints (Cort`s concept of improving the acoustic guitar neck stability). Gold-O6 is the Gold series` orchestra option; it comes with a non-cutaway body (solid mahogany back/sides, solid Sitka spruce top, black binding on top and back, abalone rosette, tortoiseshell pickguard), a mahogany neck (new Gold series contour, 14th fret dovetail joint, walnut reinforcements, double lock joint), a 20-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard (1-11/16" wide genuine bone nut, 25-3/10" scale, dot inlays, custom 12th fret inlay), a Macassar ebony bridge (belly contour, bone saddle, ebony string pins), vintage-styled tuners (open-gear construction, gold plating, standard 3+3 arrangement on the headstock), and scalloped X bracing. The MSRP hasn`t been disclosed, though the retail price hovers around $500.

Jaw dropping sound. It feels and sounds like a guitar easily 3x the price. I have the orchestra model. Excellent size. I have a bad shoulder and a standard dreadnought is painful to play. I can play this one all day if I wanted to. The resonance is unbelievable. This guitar sings. For the price I highly recommend picking one up.
