Cort`s SFX Series is oriented towards the comfort and playability of the instruments while retaining the affordability. SFX5 is Cort`s own body shape and SFX5 is a cutaway acoustic-electric model positioned at the lower end of the palette. It starts off with spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Black and natural gloss color options are complemented with ivoroid binding.The bridge on SFX5 is made of rosewood. Sonicore pickup and Fishman PreSys preamp make up the electronics department. On-board controls are mounted onto the side of the guitar. Neck is made of mahogany with C shape and a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and dot position inlays with custom 12th fret inlay. The MSRP for this model is set at $599.
