AS series is oriented towards the production of some of the best Cort acoustics and acoustic-electrics. It`s supreme priority is a clean tone and everything is subject to it. AS-S4 has a SFX cutaway shape. SFX is Cort`s own take on the jumbo shape. AS-S4 has a body made of spruce top and mahogany back and sides. it is available in natural color with satin finish. The top is bound in black and natural and has no pickguards. Matrix piezo and Fishman Prefix Plus preamp with on-board controls are in charge of the amplification. The neck is made of mahogany with c shape and a dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets and dot inlays. The bridge is also made of rosewood. The MSRP is set at $995.
