Cort`s AS series is all about the tone with less effort spent on flash and glitter. Solid Sitka spruce tops are standard on these models. Also, dreads and SFX models comprise the series. AS-M4 is a single cut acoustic-electric guitar with a body made of mahogany back and sides and solid spruce top. Top panel is bound in maple and mahogany binding and equipped with a discreet sound hole rosette. There is no pickguard on this, nor on other AS series models. Bridge is made of rosewood and it comes with a regular belly contour. Also, it contains a piezo pickup. Preamp is mounted onto the side to to provide the support for the pickup. One piece mahogany neck has a "C" contour, dovetail joint and it`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
