AS-M5 is a model from Cort`s AS series which is made up of dreadnought models. This particular guitar comes with a cutaway variant of this body shape and it is made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce top. Binding around the top is done with several layers of mahogany and maple. This guitar comes with a beautiful gloss finish over the natural color. In the bridge section, Cort installs a rosewood bridge with a classic belly shape. Electronics department is made up of an under-saddle piezo pickup and a side-mounted preamp. The neck is made of mahogany and it comes with a C contour in combination with a dovetail joint. Rosewood is the material of choice for the fingerboard on this model. It comes with 20 frets and dot inlays.
