Excel Acoustic Guitars Acoustic-Electric Guitars by D`Angelico Guitars
Mercer is one of the main acoustic models of D`Angelico catalog. It rocks the regular, single-cut grand auditorium body, neck glued in at 14th fret and Fishman electronics. Also, classic D`Angelico styling is there. Five options make up the color palette, each being paired with gold-plated hardware and multi-ply binding.
Mercer (SG-100) starts off with a rather bright-sounding set of tonewoods, including solid sapele on back & sides, solid spruce on the top, mahogany on the neck, ebony on the headstock and rosewood fingerboard. The neck is equipped with the slim C profile and is attached at the 14th fret.
Main hardware and electronics appointments include a fixed rosewood bridge (bone saddle, creme string pins), Fishman INK-4 pickup and preamp and Grover tuners.
