Espana series is there for all the young students and players who want a reliable nylon-string, but don`t want to pay big money. In under $400 region, Dean offers solid tops, laminated sides and backs, decent construction quality and good tone. Solid Top Cutaway A/E Lefty is the only left-handed model in the series lineup. It comes with a single-cut body made of mahogany (laminated) back and sides and a cedar (solid) top. Dean`s own electronics are featured on this model, piezo pickup under the saddle of a rosewood bridge and preamp with a tuner on the side, facing the player. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s attached at the standard 12th fret. Rosewood fingerboard on the top features a total of 19 frets (19th fret is a whole fret).
