Dean`s Exotica series features a cast line of acoustic and acoustic-electric models, of which all feature exotic tonewoods. Exotica Andes is a grand auditorium model with single cutaway design and set-in neck joint. Back, top and sides on this model are made of rosewood. Top panel is decorated with some ivoroid binding and finished in gloss. As it is regular for the Exotica series, this model does not feature a pickguard on it`s top. Sound hole rosette is made of abalone. Bridge section is equipped with a rosewood bridge done in regular triangular Dean shape. Electronics are made up of Dean DMT I2NR 4 Band equalizer with tuner. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with rosewood fingerboard. 21 frets and abalone dot inlays complete the fingerboard.
