Performer series is the main acoustic guitars series in Dean Guitars catalog. It deals with both the acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Mainly in the affordable and budget-friendly zones, Performer series caters to players who are not in the situation to purchase an expensive guitar. Performer series is vast and offers a wide variety of models for all types of players. Typical body contour is the grand auditorium. Compact, reasonably deep and with strong tone, Dean`s grand auditorium is one of the best made acoustic body contours on the market. For 2013 Performer series is updated with three models and Performer Ultra Flame Maple is one of them. It comes with a single-cut grand auditorium body made entirely of flamed maple. Body is decorated with beautiful multi-ply binding around the edges of the sound board. Tiger Eye, Natural and Trans Black color options are available for this model. Bridge section features a standard-shaped bridge made of ebony. Electronics are made by B-Band and include an A3TY preamp. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features the comfortable slim C contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
