Caballero is coming back and with a vengeance. New 2014 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary 1964 Caballero is back to continue where the original rider stopped. It is a compact-sized acoustic-electric guitar made for all the players who dislike classic dreadnoughts and jumbos due to their size, but love them for their strong and loud tone. New Caballero rides into town on a non-cutaway horse made almost completely of mahogany (rosewood bridge and fingerboard are exceptions). This gives the much needed strength of tone and a tight low end. This little big six-stringer is available in two color options: Mahogany and Ebony. Mahogany is the natural color with satin finish and nickel hardware). Electronics department is the only segment of the original Caballero which is being significantly altered (this is done due to a huge quality difference between 1960s and 21st century electronics) equipped with a bridge-positioned under-saddle Shadow NanoFlex pickup with low impedance. Shadow ePerformer preamp is mounted onto the side of the body and features all of the standard controls (volume, tone, tuner). Mahogany neck is attached with a dovetail joint and features a standard 20-fret fingerboard on it`s top. Fingerboard is fit with medium-sized frets, dot position inlays, 1.68" wide string nut and 12" radius.
