J-45 is one of quintessential acoustic six-stringers in blues & rock world, and one of the most popular steel-strings ever created. Notable players include the legends such as John Lennon, George Harrison, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Buddy Holly, Skip James, Keith Richards, and Noel Gallagher of Oasis. In 2014, Epiphone has paid a tribute to the legendary round shoulder dread with the Limited Edition 1963 J-45. Available in four color options - Vintage Sunburst, Faded Cherry Burst, Ebony and Wine Red - J-45 is finished in gloss, and fit with nickel hardware. Non-cutaway body is made of mahogany and spruce, and features a standard-shaped rosewood bridge on top. 24-3/4"-scaled neck is also made of mahogany, and it features a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood on its top.
