A-300E belongs to the newly formed Tombstone line of acoustic-electric guitars, introduced at this year`s NAMM under the LTD flag. A total of eight models make up the initial lineup, seven six-stringers and one acoustic-electric bass. A-300E belongs to the lowest tier of the series, the affordable 300 tier which is characterized by an emphasis on simplicity and good tonal delivery. All three 300 models, including the A-300E are intermediate class acoustic-electrics with modest design, B-Band electronics and quality materials. A-300E comes with a single-cut auditorium body made of mahogany back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce sound board on top. Entire body, black of the neck, entire headstock and the tuners are clad in black color with satin finish. In the electronics department, this model (like the other two 300 Tombstone models) features the B-Band electret film transducer installed under the Nubone string saddle and a B-Band T-35 preamp installed on the side of the body. Mahogany neck is fit with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret and U profile. On its top, ESP installs a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with diamond inlays and 1.69" wide Nubone nut. Black-clad tuners on the headstock are the standard LTD die-cast machine heads.
