The Fender Alternative series offers a small range of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars which feature alternative styling and materials. The current lineup has five models, with FA-125CE Dreadnought being one of two available dreadnought models (the other one`s fully acoustic FA-125). Like the rest of its stable-mates, FA-125CE rocks laminated body construction, with basswood back & sides and a spruce top. Black binding, a simple rosette, and a black pickguard decorate the top. Electronics section rocks a Fishman pickup/preamp combo, with volume, bass, and treble controls. The neck`s made of nato and it`s attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood and features 1.69" nut and dot inlays. Fender`s famous Viking bridge (made of laminated hardwood) and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
