The affordable Alternative series offers a line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made with an alternative styling and laminated bodies. It is located below the Paramount series, catering to the lower intermediate and beginner classes. FA-235E Concert is the series`s flagship model, coming in with a non-cutaway body and acoustic-electric construction. The body of this steel-stringed beauty is made of laminated lacewood back & sides, with a flame maple top. There`s also creme binding (tortoiseshell binding on the sunburst option) around the top and a custom-designed rosette on it. The electronics section rocks Fishman pickup/preamp combo. Fender sells this one in Natural and 3-Tone Sunburst options. Other notable features include a nato neck, a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, a Viking bridge (also made of rosewood), and open-back tuners.
