FR-50 is a resonator guitar from the Fender`s Folk series. It comes with a standard non-cutaway shaped body which is made of laminated mahogany back and sides, and laminated spruce top. This model is available in sunburst color with gloss finish. Top is bound in natural binding and equipped with a metal resonator cone. Also, top features a pair of highly stylized "f" holes. Shapes of these holes are the same as letter F in Fender logo. Bridge on this model is integrated with the resonator cone and it`s paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Neck on FR-50 Resonator is made of nato wood and it features a set-in joint. This neck is topped with a sonokelin fingerboard, which features 20 medium-jumbo frets with dot inlays.
