Fender catalog contains a wide range of acoustic and acoustic-electric instruments. Mostly, there are guitars, but the catalog also features banjos, mandolins and resonators. They are packed into Folk Music Series. Three resonators are currently offered and FR-50CE is one of them. It is an acoustic-electric variant of the FR-50, the basic resonator model from Fender. Fr-50CE comes with single cutaway constructed body, which is made of laminated mahogany back and sides and white-bound laminated spruce top. bridge is integrated into the resonator cone and electronics department features a regular neck single coil with master volume and tone knobs. Set-in neck is made of nato wood and topped with sonokelin fingerboard. It features 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.65" wide TUSQ string nut.
