Fender Guitars sport extensive line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars, which ranges from the basic beginner models all the way to high class exclusive guitars. For 2013 Fender pays special attention to the high end section, where the Collector`s Custom series is being introduced. It currently has five exclusive guitars painted by five master airbrush painters. Melanie Steinway is one of them and her guitar of choice is the dreadnought. Theme is named "Tribal Moth" after the giant moth painted behind the bridge. From there, tribal decorations spread across the top panel. Natural color of the wood is in the base and it`s all finished in high gloss. Body of this dreadnought sports non-cutaway design and it`s made of mahogany in it`s entirety. This is a flat-top dread with aged white binding. Due to the custom graphics, there`s no pickguard. Bridge is made of rosewood and it rocks the standard Fender contour. Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system is installed on this "Tribal Moth" dreadnought. Mahogany neck features V contour in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Mother-of-Pearl block inlays and 1.7" bone nut complete the fingerboard. Grover Rotomatic tuners are featured on this model.
