Fender`s Acoustic Custom Shop is making it`s debut on the 2013 NAMM show in Anaheim. It comes with a total of nine models divided into two series. The more expensive one is Collector`s Custom series, which features five models with custom graphics painted by professional airbrush artists. Guitars look extravagant and cost a lot. On the other side, Pro Custom series is oriented towards the players who are looking for a more traditional approach. Series is equipped with two dreads, one newporter and one auditorium. Newporter is one of four models introduced into Pro Custom series and it comes with a non-cutaway body made of solid mahogany. Aged white binding, plastic pickguard and checker-board rosette decorate the top. Body of this model is finished in gloss and it`s only color scheme is natural. Bridge section is a standard one, as it features a regular-shaped rosewood bridge with bone saddle and white string pins. Electronics department is equipped with Fishman`s Sonitone sound hole pickup system. Maple is used for the neck and it features C contour. On it`s top, 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood is installed and it features 1.7" wide bone nut. Vintage Fender tuners and 25-5/8" scale complete the story.
