Sonoran SCE Wildwood IV is created as an homage to the iconic 1960s Wildwood acoustics with a fair share of modern features (such as modern Fishman electronics). This one comes with a full-sized dreadnought body shape with single-cut design and dovetail neck joint construction. Body of this mighty Sonoran dread comes in two variants. It can be made of dao and purple heart tonewoods. While the back and sides come in two options, Wildwood IV features a solid spruce top. Multi-ply binding is featured around the edges of the top and is accompanied by an elegant pickguard. Bridge on this model is made with the classic Viking contour and features the split bone saddle on it`s top. Under the bridge, there`s a Fishman piezo pickup. It`s controlled through the side-mounted preamp, which contains all the necessary control knobs. Neck on this model is made of maple and it`s fit with a standard C contour. It`s attached at the 14th fret (steel-stringed acoustics standard). On it`s top, there`s a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. It`s equipped with dot inlays, 11.80" radius and 1.69" wide bone nut. The MSRP for this model is set at $669.
