Fender Standard Stratacoustic™
Electracoustics Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Fender
Electracoustics Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Fender
Electroacoustic series is meant to erase the boundaries between the worlds of electric and acoustic guitars, as it blends Stratocaster design with acoustic construction. Standard Strat double cutaway design with a Strat neck and headstock is combined with a fully hollow, acoustic body construction. Back and sides on this model are made of plexiglass and the top is made of spruce. Plexiglass is a very rare material in guitar construction, while the spruce comes as one of the most common ones. Bridge is made of rosewood and it is equipped with a compensated saddle. Fishman provides the Isys III pickup/preamp system for Standard Stratacoustic`s amplification. Neck is made of maple and it sports a standard C contour. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 21 frets, white dot position inlays and 1.62" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
