Acoustic and electric guitars were always separate worlds, but a few models have managed to blur the boundaries. Fender`s Electroacoustic series is an effort to further blend these two into one. Standard Teleacoustic is series` acoustic-electric guitar with Telecaster design and construction features. It`s back and sides are made of plexiglass, which is a very rare feature for acoustic-electric guitars, and the top is made of spruce. Natural binding and glossy finish over black paint wrap the top. Bridge on this Telecoustic model is made of rosewood and it features a compensated saddle. Fishman Isys III pickup/preamp system is featured in the electronics area. Neck is made of maple and it is set. Rosewood is the material of choice for this model`s fingerboard. It comes with 21 dot-covered frets.
