Tim Armstrong and Fender Guitars are on the mission again. The mission is to deliver one more Tim Armstrong signature model. This time it is Tim Armstrong Deluxe signature steel-stringer with acoustic-electric construction. This one comes with a concert-shaped body with non-cutaway designed body. Main materials used for the construction of Tim Armstrong Deluxe are mahogany, rosewood and maple. Mahogany is used for the entire body construction. Laminated panels are found on the sides and in the back, while the solid mahogany is used for the sound board on top. Creme binding, classical rosette and four-ply tortoise shell pickguard decorate the top panel of this signature concert. Natural color is the only one and it is finished in satin. Bridge section on this model sports a standard Tim Armstrong Signature contour and it is made of rosewood. Also, this bridge features a compensated bone saddle. Electronics installed on this model include a sound hole-mounted pickup from Fishman, Neo-D Sound Hole System, to be exact. Neck is made of maple and it`s topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot inlays, 11.80" radius and 1.77" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard. Hardware is plated in chrome and the scale measures 25-1/3".
