Blues King is an acoustic-electric model from Gibson`s Small Body series. It comes with the series standard shape and it features a 24-3/4" scale. Just a little bit shorter than the standard 25-1/2, this scale length gives more bluesy vibe to the strings. Vintage sunburst color on this model is finished in high gloss. Back and sides are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Creme binding, tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette complete the top panel. Belly-shaped bridge is made of rosewood and the electronics department features a combo of under-saddle piezo pickup and preamp. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and dot position inlays.
