J-45 comes from Gibson`s Rounded Shoulder Series and is commonly nicknamed "The Workhorse" as it was Gibson`s best selling acoustic guitar for years. J-45 starts off as a non-cutaway dreadnought with rounded shoulders and a body made of solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. It is available in antique natural, vintage sunburst and ebony color options with gloss finish and white top binding. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood with belly shape and features white pins and white plastic saddle. The neck is made of maple with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood with 20 frets, pearl dot inlays and 1.725" wide synthetic bone nut. The MSRP for Gibson j-45 is set at $3,072.
