J-45 Walnut Burst AG 2018 is one of three AG (Avant Garde) models in the new, 7-piece 2018 lineup of Gibson`s acoustic segment. The other two belong to the Hummingbird and Small Body series, respectively. The J-45 AG is the most affordable among them, with the price tag set at $1,999. J-45 Walnut Burst AG 2018 mixes the classic J-45 design with AG construction features (shallow sides, modern neck shape) and alternative materials (walnut replaces rosewood and mahogany). Walnut Burst is the name of the only available color option. Key features include walnut-made back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, 2-piece maple neck (w/advanced response profile), 20-fret walnut fingerboard (16" radius, 24.75" scale), walnut bridge, L.R. Baggs electronics, and Grover tuners.
