LG-2 American Eagle is a small-bodied guitar, but with a full dynamic range and projection of a big one. It costs $1,899 and is one of the most affordable and accessible Gibson`s acoustics.
LG-2 American Eagle starts off with a non-cutaway body made of mahogany (back, sides) and Sitka Spruce (top). The non-cutaway body`s decorated with multi-ply black/white binding, tortoise pickguard and hand-bound rosette. The neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and sports the comfortable slim taper profile. Fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood and has 19 frets, Tusq nut and dot inlays.
Main hardware and electronics features include L.R. Baggs Element VTC electronics, nickel-plated Grover tuners and rosewood bridge (w/Tusq saddle).
