SJ-200 Studio is a model from the Gibson`s Super Jumbo series which is oriented solely towards the jumbo shaped guitars. SJ-200 Studio comes with a non-cutaway variant of the body. It`s back and side panels are made of maple, while the top is made of spruce. As it is a custom with Gibson, models labeled Studio have less emphasis on aesthetics, while they still receive the same amount of attention for construction and tone quality. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it comes with a mustache shape. Piezo pickup/preamp combo is featured in the electronics section. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a V contour. Fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood and it comes with 20 frets covered with crown inlays.
