J-185 EC is a model from the Gibson`s Jumbo series and it comes with a single cutaway variant. Back and side panels on this model are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. Natural color is the only color option available for this model and it comes finished in gloss. Top panel is bound in maple binding and equipped with a tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole is decorated with an elegant rosette made of three circles, middle one is made of abalone. Bridge sports a belly shape and it`s made of rosewood. Fishman provides Pro Acoustic pickup system for the electronics section. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and split parallelogram inlays.
