Goldtone is known for crossing the concepts of acoustic instruments with previous projects like Banjitar and others. This time around, this Florida-based brand is playing with the possibilities of a resonator guitar. PBKG is a combination of acoustic guitar and acoustic resonator. All elements of a resonator guitar are present, except of the cone. It is replaced by a regular acoustic guitar top made of spruce. Back and sides are made of rosewood. This gloss-finished guitar-resonator features a bridge made of rosewood and a natural single-circle rosette around the sound hole. There are no electronics installed, as this one is a fully acoustic model. Neck is made of mahogany and it comes with a resonator U contour. Rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets with resonator-characteristic set of position inlays.
